LETTS, Ind. – Investigators are ruling a fire accidental after a Decatur County barn went up in flames early Tuesday morning at 8125 County Road 700 South.
The Letts Volunteer Fire Department responded around 1 a.m. to the barn that was fully engulfed and immediately requested assistance from Burney-Clay Township Volunteer Fire Department.
According to the Greensburg Daily News, the owners lost farm machinery that was inside the barn but no one was injured.
Fire investigators say the blaze may have started from embers blown from a garbage fire nearby on the property
