(Batesville, IN) – Batesville Fire and Rescue is warning its followers on social media about a scam.
The department says someone recently posted a comment which claims Batesville Fire and Rescue shirts and other merchandise are for sale.
Fire officials say you should not click on the comment because it’s a scam
The department is working to block and delete that account as quickly as possible.
“We appreciate your patience and understanding,” Batesville Fire and Rescue wrote in a statement. “Thank you for helping us keep our community safe.”
