Fifty of Indiana’s 92 counties now reporting sick, dying songbirds

Statewide — What started as a few has ballooned to many.

There are now 50 of Indiana’s 92 counties reporting sick and dying songbirds. That’s 10 more than the 40 counties reported earlier this week.

It’s not clear what’s causing the problem, but the Indiana Dept of Natural Resources is recommending Hoosiers remove birdfeeders and keep pets away from sick or dying birds.
