(Las Vegas, NV) — The Indiana Fever will have to win at home to keep their season alive after falling 102-85 to the Las Vegas Aces in Game 1 of their first-round WNBA playoff series.
Las Vegas hurt Indiana in transition, scoring 28 points on the break. The Aces also scored 17 points at the free-throw line.
Fever Head Coach Stephanie White said Indiana must improve its transition defense as the series shifts to Indianapolis.

The sixth-seeded Fever will host the third-seeded Aces in Game 2 of the best-of-three series Tuesday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Tipoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
The Fever are calling Tuesday’s game a “Red Out,” with every fan in attendance receiving a free T-shirt.
A pregame party is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. at Morris Bicentennial Plaza next to the fieldhouse. Activities will include inflatables, balloon artists, face painters, and more.
Indiana must win Tuesday to force a deciding Game 3.
