(Franklin County, IN) – The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office says it’s received reports of scam callers impersonating law enforcement officers.
Deputies says they’ll never call and demand payment to avoid arrest, and that warrants are not resolved by making payments over the phone.
You’re reminded that you should never provide personal, financial, or banking information to unsolicited callers.
If you receive one of these calls, hang up immediately.
