BROOKVILLE, IN — You may have seen a heavy police presence at the Brookville Public Library Wednesday morning.
That’s because the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office conducted armed intruder response training prior to the library opening for the day.
As part of the training, deputies shot blanks inside the building, which is why some people may have heard what sounded like gunfire in and around the library.
