FBI Searches Home of Former Pickleball Business Owner

(Brookville, IN) – The FBI on Wednesday searched the Brookville home of a man accused of swindling millions of dollars from people who thought they were investing in his now-defunct pickleball business.

Rodney Grubbs is the former owner of Pickleball Rocks. He was unable to repay investors money they were owed.

The business went bankrupt, which left Grubbs nearly $47 million in debt.

11th Street in Brookville was closed between Fairfield Avenue and John Street for several hours while agents conducted the operation.

Meanwhile, the FBI is asking for victims’ information as part of the investigation. Agents say if you were victimized by Grubbs or have information relevant to the investigation, you’re asked to fill out a short form, which you can find by clicking here.

The FBI says all victims’ identities will be kept confidential.
