GUILFORD, Ind. — A Guilford family was displaced from their home after a house fire late last week.
Firefighters from the Miller-York, Manchester, Bright, Greendale, and St. Leon Fire Departments responded to battle the blaze on Villa Road around 7:30 PM on Thursday.
According to fire officials, the homeowners were in the house when the fire started but were able to make it out safely.
Firefighters remained on scene for around 5.5 hours.
Nobody was injured, but the house was a total loss.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
