Statewide — The Indiana Commission for Higher Education has extended the filing deadline for the 2021 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).  FAFSA is an important step in the post-secondary education process and can help families more easily meet the expenses of schooling. Students must have a current FAFSA on file to qualify for state and federal financial aid and merit-based scholarships.

There is no set date for the deadline extension and funding is released on a first-come, first-served basis. Students who did not file the FAFSA by the original deadline need to do so now. Click here to get started.
