Eva Marie Ulibarri, age 88 of Greensburg, IN died Friday, June 16, 2017 at the Morning Breeze Health Care in Greensburg, IN. Eva is the daughter of Conrad & Pablita (DeLaO) Madrid. She was born in Arigon, NM on November 11, 1928. She was married to Nick Ulibarri who preceded her in death. Eva raised her 5 children in Tucson, AZ. She moved to Indiana with her daughter and this is where she spent her later years and where she eventually passed away.She loved cookies and when she said “can I have a cookie” with that cute smile that no one could resist it’s needless to say she got a lot of cookies. When she was a young girl she had a horse named Carmel that she loved riding. She loved God and was proud of the fact that she traveled to the Holy Land. She was loving, kind, funny and the most positive person you could ever meet. Her family was everything to her. She had a great love for everyone and never met a stranger.
Eva is survived by her children Nadine Gaston (Late Bill), Edith Grubb (Donnie), Nickey Ulibarri (Jadee) and Carol Haldeman. 1 sister Margaret Trujillo and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Carl Ulibarri, sister Ruby Hernandez and brothers Joe Madrid & Alberto Madrid.
Friends may call Friday, June 23, 2017 from 2-3pm followed by a memorial service at 3pm all at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville, IN with Mark Vice officiating. Memorials may be given to the New Point Christian Church c/o the funeral home.
