The season is over for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. After a valiant win against Pitt on Tuesday, they lost to North Carolina 76-56 in the ACC Tournament. The Irish were led by 11 points from Markus Burton, who admitts he struggled to get any decent rhythm in the last two games. Head coach Micah Shrewsberry says his team simply “ran out of gas.” Notre Dame finishes the year 15-and-18. They are below .500, but the season is still an improvement from the year before.
