Elizabeth “Libby” Hayden August 13, 1939 – December 21, 2020

Elizabeth “Libby” Hayden, of Cincinnati, passed away surrounded by family in the early hours of December 21, 2020 at the age of 81. She was born August 13, 1939 in Lyndon, Ohio to Nora (Spurgeon) and Harold Hester. One of 16 children, Libby moved to Cincinnati at a young age to pursue modeling dreams and was crowned “Miss Marilyn Monroe” in local contests. She went on to work for a local law firm before starting a 40-year career with the Kroger Company. Libby loved to shop and spoil her grandchildren and great grandchildren and she would give her last dollar for someone in need. She also loved to frequent the casinos and one of her last trips was to Las Vegas.

Libby is preceded in death by her husband, William Hayden, her eldest daughter, Valerie (James) Webb, and 2 grandchildren, Michael Nusbaum and Ellie Janszen, as well as 10 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Vanessa (Gary) Wilhoit, and 2 sons, Steve Wilson and Greg Hayden, her grandchildren, Elizabeth (Jeff) Janszen, Joey (Kathleen) Nusbaum, Gary (Misty) Wilhoit, Angela (Michael) Minges, Brian and Houston Wilhoit, Kristina Webb, Stephanie, Christopher and Jessica Wilson, and her adoring great grandchildren, William, Callie, and Chloe Janszen, Isabella, Emma, and Miley Nusbaum, Alexandria, Kadeen, and Sage Beerman, Ryan and Julia Minges, Zackary, Katelynn, and Austyn Wilhoit, Cynthia Dunn, Jeremy, Krisahnae, and Jaleigha Watson, as well as 5 siblings, Mary Kinger, Janet Jovanovic, Gary (Bonnie) Hester, Ruth Cheekwood, and Warren (Pam) Hester.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 28, 2020 from 11:00 A.M. until time of funeral services at 1:00 P.M. with Shawn Crisman Officiating all at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home Harrison, Ohio 215 Broadway St. Harrison, Ohio 45030. Interment to immediately follow at the Miamitown Cemetery in Miamitown, Ohio where she will be laid to rest with her husband.
