Elizabeth C. “Betty” Farrell, age 91, of Brookville, Indiana died Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Three Rivers Premier Estates in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Born August 28, 1927 in Cincinnati, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Edward & Irene (O’Connor) Gill. On January 31, 1948 she was united in marriage to John J. Farrell, and he preceded her in death on November 20, 2005.
She was a member of the former Holy Guardian Angel Parish in Cedar Grove. In her leisure time Betty enjoyed playing Bingo, and was a die hard Cincinnati Reds baseball fan.
Survivors include a daughter & son-in-law, Karen Ann (David) Busse of Brookville, Indiana; four sisters, Judith Gill of Glendale, Ohio, Donna Large of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mary Carrier of Glendale, Ohio and Evelyn Spore of Hoffman Estates, Illinois.
In addition to her parents and husband, John, she was preceded in death by a brother Edward Gill.
Family & friends may visit from 3 until 6:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville.
Rev. Vincent P. Lampert will officiate the Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, November 12, 2018, 10:00 A.M. at Holy Guardian Angel Oratory, 405 U.S. Hwy 52, Cedar Grove, Indiana. Burial will then follow in Holy Guardian Angel Catholic Cemetery in Cedar Grove.
