(Southeastern IN) – We are at risk for an elevated fire danger this afternoon and into the early evening hours.
The National Weather Service says a combination of southerly winds gusting to 40 mph with relative humidity falling into the 15 to 25 percent range will lead to the potential for grass and brush fires that could spread quickly.
Wind gusts of 35 to 40 mph are likely this afternoon and evening.
Loose objects may be blown around, and driving may be difficult for high profile vehicles.
