Eleanor R. Whiteman, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away Friday, June 23, 2017 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
She was born February 16, 1927 in Dearborn County, IN, daughter of the late Clarence and Nellie (Robins) Grenat.
Eleanor enjoyed gardening and sewing. Time with her family was her greatest joy and she will be greatly missed.
Surviving are sons, Arthur “Art” G. Wilson of Aurora, IN, Kenneth Whiteman of Aurora, IN; grandchildren, Lindsey Whiteman and Taylor Whiteman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Nellie Grenat, husband, Charles Whiteman, siblings, Les Grenat, Donald Grenat and Virginia Schoonover.
Friends will be received Tuesday, June 27, 2017, 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic Street, Aurora, Indiana.
Services will be held at the Funeral Home, Wednesday at 1:00 pm with Brother Kenny Hopper oficiating.
Interment will follow in the Hogan Hill Cemetery, Aurora, Indiana.
