Edward Petro, 81, of Patriot, IN, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2024.
He was born November 20, 1942, in North Vernon, IN, son of the late Virgil Petro and Goldie (Turnmire) Petro.
Edward worked as an Iron Worker for Harrison Foundry, retiring with over 30 years of service.
Edward is survived by his daughter, Heather J. (Scott) Knotts; son, Tony (Amy) Petro; grandchildren, Roger Sebree, Christian Knotts, Stryker Knotts, Carlie (Shaune) Turner, Alexus Knotts, Amanda Petro, Anthony Hall, Sean Hall, Michael Hall; great-grandchildren, Carter Bihlmire, Kam’breyon Turner, Anyila Waters, Gail Royer, Ezekiel Hall, Gabrielle Hall, Elisha Hall, Mickey Hall, Theodore Hall; siblings, Leo (Justina) Petro, Wayne Petro, Barbara (Larry) Edward, Arnetta Petro.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Goldie Petro; wife, Montina “Tina” Jo Petro; brothers, Harlin Petro, Harold Petro, Roy “Junior” Petro; sisters, Elva Edith Petro, Sue Johnson, Ibelle Cocherhan; daughter, Lisa Batchelor.
A graveside service will be held at River View Cemetery, 3635 E. Laughery Creek Rd., Aurora, Indiana on Monday October 14, 2024 at 1:00 pm.
