Edward Wayne Kaffenberger, 70, of Aurora, IN, passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2023.
He was born March 7, 1953, in Cincinnati, OH, son of the late James Kaffenberger and LaVerne (Love) Kaffenberger.
He worked as a Welder for Aurora Casket Company, retiring after over 41 years of service.
Ed enjoyed working around the house. He really loved attending his grandchildren’s events.
Ed is survived by his loving spouse, Deborah (Newton) Kaffenberger, children, Jason (Jill) Kaffenberger of Cincinnati, OH, Shelly (Ki) Yoon of Greendale, IN; grandchildren, Gavin, and Garrett Yoon, Ryan, Noah, and Emma Kaffenberger; brothers, Billy (Benita) Kaffenberger of Lawrenceburg, IN, Donnie (Joyce) Kaffenberger of Aurora, IN.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and LaVerne Kaffenberger; sister, Lisa Kaffenberger; granddaughter, Josie Yoon.
Friends will be received Monday, December 4, 2023, 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic Street, Aurora, Indiana.
Services will be held at the Funeral Home, at 2:00 pm.
Interment will follow in the River View Cemetery, Aurora, IN.
