Edward Junior Buckingham “June”, 86, of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, passed away Friday June 5, 2020 at his home in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, where he resided with his niece, Patricia (David) Rolfes.
He was born December 30, 1933 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, son of the late Edward Buckingham Sr. and Lillian (Buchanan) Buckingham.
Edward served his country as a member of the United States Air Force as a Flight Engineer for over 20 years. He served overseas in Korea and Vietnam.
Edward is survived by children, Sandra Buckingham of Sarasota, FL, Mark Buckingham of Sarasota, FL, Rhonda Hupp of Laurelville, OH; step-daughters, Becky Youngblood of IL, Delilah Mazzella of WV; grandchildren, Sofia Marie Francois, Edrick James Francois, Caitlyn Rhoades, Ronnie Elza and Mandy Youngblood; great-grandchildren, Chris Elza, Gabriella Youngblood, Geneava Lawrence, and Veronica Cruz; He also leaves behind, his beloved dog, Sugar.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Rose M Buckingham; daughter, Kimberly Cremins; siblings, Melvin Buchanan, Bertha Weaver, and Betty Gregory; step-daughter, Vicky Youngblood and grandson, Lavon Youngblood.
Due to the Covid-19, graveside services will be held at Manasota Memorial Gardens, Bradenton, Florida when military services resume. This obituary will run in the Sarasota Herald Tribune when services are finalized.
