Edna R. Lacey, of Rising Sun, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at her home.
She was born October 12, 1943 in Cumberland, KY, daughter of the late Hezzie Bruce and Nannie Bruce.
She worked as a CNA and Nurses Aid for DCH and Woodland Hills.
Edna enjoyed BINGO. She also enjoyed sewing, even making her daughters wedding dress. She was an animal lover, especially dogs. Edna not only worked but took wonderful care of her family and she will be greatly missed.
Surviving are children, Cindy (Aaron Stefina) Lacey of Rising Sun, IN; Bruce (Nicole) Lacey of Aurora, IN; 4 step children; brothers, Raymond Bruce of SC, Jerry Carl Bruce of KY; grandchildren, Christina Wallick, Triton Lacey; and a great grandson; 12 step grandchildren and several great grandchildren .
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rudolph Lacey; 2 sisters and a brother.
Friends will be received Friday, June 30, 2017, 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic Street, Aurora, Indiana.
Services will be held at the Funeral Home, at 2:00 pm with Pastor Tommy Beatley officiating.
Interment will follow in the Mt. Sinai Cemetery, Aurora, Indiana.
