
(St. Leon, IN) – Six East Central High School FFA students recently took part in state competition, with one moving on to nationals.
Jared Enda won first place in Agricultural Sales Entrepreneurship.
Enda’s proficiency application will advance to the National FFA Convention in October, where he will represent East Central and the State of Indiana on a national stage.
He’ll also be recognized at the Indiana State FFA Convention in June.
Cambryn Botts was second in Specialty Animal Production.
Parker Simpson placed fourth in Forest Management and Products.
Ashtyn Galey came in seventh in Swine Production.
Tyler Stenger was 13th in Poultry Production.
And Shelby Dawson finished 14th in Sheep Production.
EC FFA chapter leaders say each student has developed special skills through their Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE), which can enhance possibilities for their future career.
