After a tough five-set loss to Greensburg, East Central volliers bounced back Thursday at South Dearborn with a 25-15, 25-22, 25-16 victory. The Trojan varsity is 1-1 overall and 1-0 in the EIAC.
“We started slow in every set,” said EC coach Cassie Laker. “We struggled to find a rhythm but found a way to pull it out in the end. Our own errors put a lot of pressure on ourselves to find a way to finish. Due to some injuries, we were in a new line up which seemed to cause some confusion and distract us. But overall, the girls continued to fight and found a way to get the job done.”
