Dearborn County, IN — A student from East Central was killed Thursday Morning in a single-vehicle crash.
Dearborn County authorities said that 18 year old Bretton Fox was traveling in his truck around 8am hitting a patch of ice and losing control. The crash took place on Indiana State Highway 1 and Whitaker Lane near The Tanner Valley United Methodist Church. The vehicle went into an embankment, rolled onto its side, and struck a tree.
Fox was a senior and captain of the Football team in which he recently committed to play College Football at Thomas More.
The school will have extra ministers and counselors to support the staff and students on Friday onto next week.
Civista Bank has set up a fund for the Fox family called the Fox Family Fund.
