(St. Leon, IN) – East Central High School Principal Tom Black sent a letter to parents and guardians Friday about students displaying the American flag in the school parking lot.
This comes after a senior was told by an administrator to remove the flag from his truck.
After word got out about this, several students showed their support by flying flags from their vehicles.
Black wrote that students are encouraged to express their patriotism and that they are expected to display the flag properly and in accordance with U.S. Flag Code.
