Greenwood, In. — The East Central Nursery/Landscape teams spent Saturday, April 21 competing in the Indiana FFA State Nursery/Landscape Career Development Event. The contest was held at the Central 9 Career Center in Greenwood. The contestants had to complete a general knowledge exam, plant, pest, and equipment identification, landscape estimating practicum, plant propagation practicum, and a team activity.
The team of Klay Shipman, Bradley Eberhart, Ashli Hornberger, and Evan Stickford placed 3rd. The team of Zakary Warner, Joseph Toney, Grant Struble, and Dylan Jones placed 6th. Travis Foote, Keegan Riesenbeck, Logan Moore, and Zac Riley also competed. Congratulations to the EC FFA chapter on another job well done!
