East Central FFA places 2nd in state contest

St. Leon, IN — On Saturday May 8, six members of the East Central FFA Chapter competed in the Indiana 4-H/FFA Wildlife Habitat CDE at the John S. Wright Forestry Center at Purdue University. Members identified preserved wildlife species, completed a general wildlife knowledge exam, evaluated wildlife habitats, and they completed a wildlife management plan from a given scenario. Two teams competed for East Central. The team of Heath Doll, Elizabeth Stout and Bradley Kolb placed 2nd overall. The team of Braden McDaniel, Evan Kuhn and Adrien King placed 7th. Heath Doll placed 2nd overall, and Braden McDaniel placed 7th overall out of 27 total contestants.
