Sunman, In. — The East Central High School Department of Bands is looking to leverage support from alumni, friends, fans and corporate sponsors to support a 2019 fundraising campaign to improve its transportation equipment.
ECHS is an accomplished, respected, top-tier Department of Bands, with a robust heritage of excellence spanning generations. The EC Marching Trojans compete with the biggest and best marching arts ensembles in the world as a perennial Bands of America competitor but have exceeded their current transportation/logistical capabilities to get instruments, props, supplies and uniforms to and from competitions and appearances.
The band department and band boosters have partnered to set a fundraising goal of $55,000 to purchase new modes of transportation.
