The East Central boys basketball team ended their season on Tuesday night, falling to Shelbyville 54-47
in overtime at the 4A Columbus North Sectional.
It was a tightly contested game the entire way. East Central led 20-19 at the half, but the Golden Bears were able to tie it at 41 a piece to send it into overtime. In the overtime period, Shelbyville would outscore the Trojans by 7 to get the win and advance to Friday’s semi-final round
Dylan Maxwell led the Trojans with 16 points.
East Central concludes its season with a 7-16 record.
