Dustin Wayne Caswell, 39, of Madison passed away on Friday, August 11, 2023 at the Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born in Madison, Indiana on March 1, 1984, the son of Leslie Caswell of Scottsburg and Ann (Fred) Dillow Shelpman of Madison. Other survivors include one sister Leslie Caswell of Madison; one brother Cody Caswell of Madison; step-brothers Curtis Shelpman of Madison, Jessie Eldridge of Greensburg, Briton Dillow-Shelpman of Merrillville, and Jeremy Shelpman of Deputy; step-grandparents Bonnie and Bill Cox of Versailles. Dustin was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Eva Devore Dewey and Robert Dillow Sr. and Paternal Grandparents Mary Sipe Caswell and Les Caswell. He loved the outdoors fishing, jeeps, motocross and all sorts of racing. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at 6:00pm at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with visitation starting at 5pm. Memorials may be given to Donor’s Choice in care of the funeral home.
