(Ripley County, IN) – A driver escaped injury following a single-vehicle crash on the 1,000 block of East County Road 800 South near Friendship on Saturday evening.
Rescue crews arriving on the scene around 7:40 pm discovered the car left the road, and struck a guy wire and an electric pole.
The unidentified driver was able to crawl out of the wreckage.
The accident is still under investigation by the Ripley County Sheriff’s Office.
The Friendship Volunteer Department also responded to the scene.
