Douglas W. “Doug” Pyles, 53, of Lawrenceburg passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood. Doug was born on Monday, August 31, 1970, in Lawrenceburg; son of William Pyles and Dorothy Schultz. Doug worked as a car salesman at Lawrence Motor Sports in Aurora where he was well known. He was a member of the Moores Hill First Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Professional Wrestling Alliance and Battle on the Border Wrestling. Doug enjoyed going fishing and golfing.
Doug will be missed by his daughters Raegan Pyles of Lawrenceburg and Sydnee (Seth Lynam) Pyles of Lawrenceburg; son Sam Smith of Hanover; brothers Matt Pyles of Rising Sun, Kevin (Gena) Manlief of Milan, and Chris Pyles of Aurora; sisters Annette (Scott) Walters of Aurora and Emily Pyles of Batavia, Ohio; and his beloved chihuahua, Cooper.
Doug was preceded in death by his parents William Pyles and Dorothy Schultz.
Services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given in honor of Doug to the family.
