Dorothy E. Howard, 95, of Greensburg passed away on December 22, 2020. She was born on March 2, 1925 in Shelby County, Indiana, the daughter of George W. and Ola M. (Alexander) Bausback.
Dorothy graduated from Greensburg High School in 1943. On September 15, 1945, she married Edward “Eddie” Howard. They were married over 67 years before he preceded her in death on August 18, 2013.
She was a homemaker and worked for many years as a volunteer at the Decatur County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Greensburg.
Survivors include: Daughter- Paula S. Howard, Son- Steven (Linda) Howard, Grandchildren- Stephanie (Keith) Kinnick, Steven Howard, II, David Howard, and Nicholas (Shawna) Howard, Great Grandchildren- Kevin (Ramanda) Kinnick, Ryan (Kortnie) Kinnick, Courtney Kinnick, Jocelyn Howard, Whitney Howard, and Meriam Howard, Great Great Grandchildren- Chesney Kinnick, Alayna Kinnick, Adalyn Kinnick, Annslee Kinnick, and Nathan Kinnick.
She was preceded in death by her: Husband, Edward Howard; Parents; Sisters, Deloris (Robert) Joyner, Betty (Wilbur) Roberts; Brothers, Omer (Mary Lou) Bausback, Emerson “Gene” (Scottie) Bausback, and Francis (Ruth) Bausback.
A graveside service will be held at the South Park Cemetery at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 with Rev. Cliff Bunch officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to the First Baptist Church. Online condolences can be made to the family at www.gilliland-howe.com
