Donita Joy Couch, 72, of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, passed away Saturday, November 27, 2021.
She was born December 5, 1948, in Patriot, IN, daughter of the late Herman Scudder and Agnes (Niccum) Scudder.
Donita worked as an RN for Dearborn County Hospital, retiring in 2011 after 41 years of service.
She enjoyed gardening, and being with her dog Sugar. She loved spending time with family and friends, especially her great grandbaby.
Donita is survived by her son, Jeffrey (Christine) Hill of Fountain, CO; daughter, Camala (Scott) Hensley of Aurora, IN; siblings, Virginia Romans of Lawrenceburg, IN, Mary Ella Roxy Jacoby of Lawrenceburg, IN, Kathy Scudder of Vevay, IN, Linda Downing of FL; grandchildren, Kaila (Bryan) McCord, Amory Smith, Clayton Hensley, Anna Hensley, Jeff Hill, Jr.; and 4 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Herman and Agnes; brothers, George, Delbert, James, Lee, Gordon & Harold Scudder.
A Celebration of Life/Open House will be held at Cams Home at 17722 Union Ridge Road, Aurora, IN. on Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 1 -5 pm. Food and drinks will be provided.
