Donald J. Bultman, 82, of Greensburg passed away Monday, November 11, 2024 at IU Health in Indianapolis. He was born at Bath in Franklin County on January 27, 1942, the son of Woodrow and Martha Engle Bultman. He was married to Karen Hammond and she survives. Other survivors include one son Dan (Trina) Bultman of Napoleon; step-son Dave Giddings of Greensburg; step-daughter Gina Gaines of Florida; 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; one brother Terry (Gwen) Bultman of Bedford. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Nadine Strimple. Mr. Bultman was a 1960 graduate of Napoleon High School and completed a two-year course at Ivy Tech. After high school Don served with the US Army as an SP 4 during the Vietnam War. He retired from Michigan/Indiana Power where he worked as an electrical engineer and also taught maintenance for Ivy Tech. He and Karen also owned and managed rental properties. Don was a lifelong member of the St. John Lutheran Church in Napoleon, was a member of the Greensburg American Legion post 129, and also the Greensburg Eagles. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 18 at 10a.m. at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles with Pastor Martin Bornhoeft officiating. Burial will be in the Indiana Veteran Cemetery in Madison. Visitation will be on Sunday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Memorials may be given to the St. John Lutheran Church or the Greensburg American Legion in care of the funeral home.
