Diana L. Cheek, 78, of Aurora, IN, passed away Monday, July 4, 2016 in Lawrenceburg, IN.
She was born Saturday, May 14, 1938 in Aurora, Indiana, daughter of the late Arthur Althoff and the late Victoria Stewart Althoff.
She was a Homemaker. She worked in the kitchen at Hollywood Casino. Diana was a member of the United Methodist Church and Tri Kappa. She was a former member of the Aurora Eagles & Aurora VFW. She loved to play Bingo with family and friends.
Surviving are sons, Steven Cheek of Aurora, IN and Bruce Cheek of Madison, IN; sister, Julia (Donald) Laker of Venice, FL; sister-in-law, Tina Althoff of Surprise, AZ; nieces, Catherine Laker Clapp of North Palm Beach, FL, Liz Laker (Charles) Tschaenn of Aurora, IN; nephew, John Althoff of Portland, Maine; great niece, Anna (Josh) Faller of Honolulu, HI; great nephew, Chad Tschaenn of Aurora, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, John Althoff.
Graveside services will be held at River View Cemetery, Friday, July 15 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Ellaine Hussung officiating.
Interment will follow in the Riverview Cemetery.
