Diana Dawn Scudder, 66, of Greensburg passed away on December 3, 2024 at the Methodist Hospital with her family by her side. She was born on July 4, 1958 in Columbus, Indiana the daughter of Merlyn L. and Nancy Huber Hooten. Diana was a 1976 graduate of Greensburg High School. She married Mark “Tony” Scudder on February 22, 1975 and together they had Chad, Greg, and TJ. Diana worked at various restaurants, the American Red Cross and Decatur County Memorial Hospital EMS before she retired. She was a member of the Hillbilly Shriners, Eagles Auxiliary #927, American Legion Auxiliary #129, Murat Shrine RV and Camping Club and Sahara Grotto RV and Camping Club.
Survivors include: husband, Mark “Tony” Scudder; children, Chad (Vicci Moon) Scudder, Greg (Lisa) Scudder and TJ (Pat) Durbin; grandchildren, Kurt Harris, Samantha Scudder, Payton Scudder, Kayden Scudder, Natalie Israel, Grace Scudder and Evan Scudder; bonus grandchildren, Heather Snow and Cecilia Snow; great grandchildren, Brynlei Harris, Ember Harris and Walker Higgins; siblings, Rick (Rose) Hooten, Bob (Annie Hunter) Hooten, Robin (Brad) Phelps and Terry Reach; several in-laws, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jon Hooten.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024 from 11:00 am until the time of the funeral at 1:00 pm. Pastor John Sword will be officiating.
