Decatur County

A warming shelter is open in Greensburg through January 29 at the Decatur County Health Department to provide a safe, warm place during the cold weather, with volunteers also needed to help staff it.  The shelter is located at the Decatur County Health Department, 315 S. Ireland Street. Those seeking shelter are asked to enter from the rear of the building at Door 14.

The Greensburg/Decatur County Public Library and the Westport Branch – closed Tuesday, 1/27. The bookmobile will also not be running.

Midtown Diner in New Point will delay opening until 8 a.m. Tuesday, 1/27.
