Deep Freeze Returning

(Southeastern IN) – The National Weather Service has issued a Cold Weather Advisory which will be in effect from 1 a.m. Monday to 10 a.m. Wednesday.

Very cold wind chills as low as 15 below zero are expected.

Forecasters say the bitterly cold wind chills could result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken. Very cold temperatures can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.

You’re urged to dress in layers including a hat, face mask, and gloves if you must go outside, and keep pets indoors as much as possible.
