Decatur County places 11th at ISF Band Day

Indianapolis, IN— The 2019 Music for All Indiana State Fair Band Day presented by Music Travel Consultants has concluded after a hard-fought battle between the bands previously announced as the “Sweet 16.” This was the final contest of the Central Indiana Track Show Association’s (CITSA) season for these 40 high school bands. After much deliberation among the eight judges, Anderson High School was awarded the title of “Indiana’s Best Band” and takes home the trophy at this year’s Indiana State Fair Band Day.

Throughout the day, the Hoosier Lottery Grandstands were filled with music fans and family members/friends of the marching bands as the “Sweet 16” and finalist were announced.

The Decatur County Marching band took away 11th place.
