DECATUR COUNTY, IN — A Decatur County man was killed in a mowing accident Wednesday night west of Adams.
The Decatur County Sheriff’s Office says responders were called around 9:37 pm to a report of a tractor that went into a creek on the 4900 block of County Road 300 North.
When crews arrived, 28-year-old Aaron Huber was found under the tractor and in the creek bed.
Huber was pronounced dead at the scene.
A wrecker assisted in removing the tractor from the creek.
Responding agencies included the Decatur County Sheriff’s Office, the Decatur County Communications Center, Decatur County EMS, the Adams Township and City of Greensburg fire departments, the Decatur County Coroner’s Office, and Tommy’s Diesel Service.
