(Decatur County, IN) – Preliminary rape, child molesting, and other charges have been filed against 27-year-old Thomas Dillan Collins following an incident that allegedly happened at a Decatur County residence last weekend.
The Decatur County Sheriff’s Office says County Communications received a call late Sunday night around 11:28 from the Center of Hope at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis indicating a female juvenile was at the facility being examined as a possible child molestation victim, and that the crime allegedly took place in Decatur County.
Following an investigation, Collins was arrested on Monday on charges of Child Molesting (Level 1 felony); Rape (Level 3 felony); Incest (Level 4 felony); Criminal Confinement (Level 5 felony), and Intimidation (Level 6 felony).
Collins is lodged in the Decatur County Detention Center while awaiting his initial court appearance.
