Decatur County golf tournament benefiting Our Hospice planned for June

GREENSBURG, IN — Our Hospice of South Central Indiana’s 28th annual Decatur County Golf Tournament will be held Friday, June 17 at Greensburg Country Club.

The tournament is held in memory of Jim Sturges, a volunteer who dedicated 25 years to the organization.

Our Hospice of South Central Indiana is a non-profit organization that provides care to patients and families in 16 counties.

The hospice has offices in Greensburg, North Vernon, and Columbus.

Last year’s event raised more than $25,000, which allowed the hospice to provide 125 days of routine care for patients and families and helped fund bereavement and palliative care programs.

The entry fee for the golf tournament is $100 per player or $400 per team, which includes green fees, cart, box lunch, and prizes.

The event on June 17 will have a shotgun start at 11 am.
