(Greensburg, IN) – Decatur County Commissioners received an update from county building inspector Kenny Buening this week on the ongoing cleanup at Lake McCoy.
Buening told the board that cleanup is progressing, with three properties greatly improved.
He sent a letter to the trailer park’s owner, which came back marked “Return to Sender.” That letter has been turned over to county attorney Chad Smith.
Buening says he has sent two letters – one by US Postal Service which was not returned, and the other via certified mail, which came back unsigned.
