Greensburg, IN — Decatur County Sheriff Bill Meyerrose has named his Chief Deputy and Jail Commander.
Eric Blodgett will serve as Chief Deputy, a position he filled for former Sheriff Greg Allen; and Mike Eggelston was tapped to serve as Jail Commander.
Meyerrose introduced both men to Decatur County Commissioner this week.
It was the first Decatur County Commissioners’ meeting for newly-sworn District 2 Commissioner Jeremy Pasel.
He was elected in November and replaces Jerome Buening, who chose not to run for re-election after serving for 20 years.
