DECATUR COUNTY, IN — The National Weather Service (NWS) in Indianapolis has issued a Flood Watch for Decatur County Wednesday night through Thursday evening.

The NWS says flooding caused by excessive rain is possible.

Runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone areas.

Moderate to heavy rain is possible Wednesday night and Thursday, with rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches possible.

The NWS says residents should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings, and those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
