Monday’s schedule at the Decatur County Fair features livestock competitions, family activities, live entertainment and one of the week’s biggest grandstand events.
The Beef Show begins at 9 a.m., followed by the Mini 4-H Horse and Pony Show at 2 p.m. Evening activities include the Livestock Judging Contest at 6 p.m., the Farm Bureau Frog Jumping Contest at 6:30 p.m., and the 4-H Fashion Revue at 7 p.m. in the Community Building. Heartland Highway will perform beginning at 6 p.m.
The Farm and Home Building will be open from 1 to 9 p.m., while the Community Building will welcome visitors from 4 to 10 p.m. The midway opens at 5 p.m. for Family Day, with every ride costing just one ticket.
Monday’s featured grandstand event is the NTPA Region 2 Truck and Tractor Pulls. Gates open at 4 p.m., with pulling set to begin at 7 p.m. Grandstand admission is $10, pit admission is $30, and children ages 5 and younger are admitted free.
