(Greensburg, IN) – The Hospital Foundation of Decatur County’s recent 2025 Annual Spring Gala raised $153,535 in support of healthcare initiatives that benefit local patients and families.
The Gala is the Hospital Foundation’s largest annual fundraising event, and brings together community members, donors, and healthcare advocates to celebrate generosity and purpose.
Funds raised at the event support several critical priorities at Decatur County Memorial Hospital (DCMH).
“As we gather tonight to celebrate, we’re also looking ahead,” said Mandy Lohrum, Director for the Hospital Foundation. “Our Board of Directors recently adopted an ambitious goal to grow our endowment fund to $2.5 million by 2030, ensuring long-term financial sustainability and high-quality care for generations to come.”
The Gala featured a silent auction and a high-energy live auction.
Throughout the evening, guests were encouraged to support the Community Impact Fund, which helps increase access to healthcare and preventive screenings.
Donations from the event support initiatives such as the Women’s Health Expo, Men’s Health Tailgate, and Healthy Fair. These patient-centered programs promote early detection and prevention—key factors in effective diagnosis, treatment, and long-term health management—and are a testament to the partnership between the Hospital Foundation and DCMH.
The Foundation expressed thanks to the Gala Committee and the Board of Directors for their leadership, as well as to the event sponsors, who were recognized throughout the program and on social media.

Hospital leaders say the impact of the evening’s generosity will be felt long after the event, helping fund services that make a lasting difference in the community.
