
Extra-curricular events and practices will be held again starting Monday. Dr. Jarrod Burns, DCCSC superintendent reminded the community how important it is to still wear masks and socially distance to keep area school open. In a letter attached to the announcement, it was noted by the Decatur County Health Department that the level of spread went down nearly 31% in the cases for the week ending 11/21 compared to the previous week for Decatur County.
The letter also noted that the 0-age 29 category made up for 32.9% of all the cases in the County and the two main areas of spread were schools and bars.
