David Russell, age 85, of Mt. Carmel, Indiana died late Thursday, August 1, 2024 at his residence in Mt. Carmel, Indiana.
Born March 6, 1939 in Clay County, Kentucky he was the son of the late Fred & Winnie Russell. He was a veteran of the United State Navy.
David was retired having worked for much of his life in construction. In his leisure time he had enjoyed golfing.
Survivors include a daughter, Jacqueline Michelle Russell of West Harrison, Indiana and a son, Jeffrey Scott Russell of Harrison, Ohio; two grandchildren; several great- grandchildren; as well as two sisters, Annette Shannon and Linda Cogar.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister and a brother.
Private Services will be conducted with interment in Kentucky at a later date.
