David E. Young, 70, of Greensburg passed away on June 8, 2024. He was born on March 5, 1954 in Batesville, Indiana the son of Raymond, Sr. and Helen Hoover Young. David married Rosalia Combs on August 16, 1975 and together they had two sons, Jason and Jacob. David worked for BCA, Federal Mogul of Greensburg. He was a member of the Free Methodist Church. David loved singing and celebrating Christmas all year round. He loved spending time with his Grandchildren and playing with his dogs. David was crafty with wood and he thought everything could be fixed with a little or a lot of duck tape.
Survivors include: Wife, Rosalia Young; Son, Jason (Debbie) Young; Grandchildren, Mikayla Young, Cheyenne Young and Jackson Young; Sisters; Debbie Dean and Karen (Gene) Kunz; Sister in Laws, Dorothy (Matthew) Galbraith, (Missing) Donna Mitchell; Brother-in-Law, Curtis (Jannie) Combs, Jr.; and Several Nieces and Nephews.
He was preceded in death by his Parents; Son, Jacob Young; Brother, Raymond “George” Young, Jr.; Nephews, Chase Galbraith and Jordan Dale.
Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Visitation on Thursday, June13, 2024 from 4:00 pm until the time of the Memorial Service at 6:00 pm at the LifeLine Wesleyan Church, 2002 Moscow Road, Greensburg, Indiana 47240. Pastor Nate Muncie will be officiating. Burial will be at a later date at the Union Baptist Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Gideon’s or to the LifeLine Wesleyan Church.
