David E. Henson, age 80, of Brookville, Indiana died Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at St. Andrews Health Campus in Batesville, Indiana.
Born June 22, 1938 in Knox County, Kentucky he was the son of the late Martin E. & Susan (Burns) Henson. On September 8, 1956 he was united in marriage to Willa Jean Ball and she preceded him in death on March 13, 2017.
David was retired having worked for many years at Owens Corning, and in later years at Twin Forks Campground in Brookville.
Survivors include a son, David M. (Carolyn) Henson of Brookville, Indiana; a daughter, Teresa Ann (Jimmy) Metcalf of Brookville, Indiana; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Patricia Henson and Ruby Hunter of Brookville, Indiana, Joyce Pullum of Cincinnati, Ohio; three brothers, Marlin Henson, Steve Henson, and James Henson all of Brookville, Indiana.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Rose Harding, as well as a brother, Sherman Henson.
Family & friends may visit from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home; burial will then follow at Sims Cemetery in New Fairfield.
